Tops'l Jigsaw Puzzle No. 1
Piece by Piece: Supporting Maine's Coastal Resilience
On January 13th, 2024, historic flooding and storms wreaked havoc on Maine's coastal communities, leading to the tragic loss of the iconic Willard Beach Fish Houses in South Portland. Withstanding storms since the 1800s, this winter's events highlight the vulnerability of our vibrant coastal communities to climate change and extreme weather.
Inspired to make a difference, Tops'l Farm collaborated with two amazing Maine artists to create this puzzle as a fundraising effort for the Island Institute. Their mission is simple - Building Community from the Sea Up. 100% of the profits will support the Island Institute's efforts to rebuild and chart a course for strengthening Maine's resilience, one puzzle piece at a time.

Meet Benjamin Williamson: Bridging Nature and Humanity Through Photography
The origin photo for this puzzle was captured by Benjamin Williamson, a non-traditional landscape photographer known for incorporating man-made elements into his work. With a passion for history, culture, and weather, Benjamin began his photography journey in 2012 while working nights as a bartender. Rising quickly, he became the photo editor of Down East Magazine, extensively photographing Maine. The photo that inspired our puzzle was taken on August 8, 2018, following a summer thunderstorm, capturing a unique moment in time.
