General Manager
A few things about this role:
This position is the backbone of the entire operation, managing a variety of functional areas on the farm but with the benefit of a solid team of individuals for support.
You can expect a full schedule each week during our summer months offset by a reduced schedule during winter months (paid) to recover, plan, and prepare for the next season. This role offers plenty of benefits – both traditional and non-traditional, tangible and intangible. We absolutely seek to achieve a work-life balance for all of our team members – so while the summer is fast paced and exciting, we do make it a point to make sure we are able to recharge on a weekly basis.
This role is made for a doer and a magic maker. Staff schedules, customer service, property support etc. fall under the oversight of this role, either directly or indirectly. Ideally, that oversight will be served up with a smile, and a solutions-focused attitude. The role will be best served by a generalist, rather than a specialist – equal parts concierge, bookkeeper, plumber, chicken whisperer, and host. Happy to be busy back of the house, but equally comfortable in the spotlight for front of the house operations.

While a seemingly simple operation, Tops’l Farm takes an incredible amount of work and eye for detail to deliver the kind of exceptional experience we promise our guests – from when we open in late spring to when we close regular operations in late fall. Winter culinary events and off-season property stays will keep us engaged in the winter, but at a much slower pace.
