Our FARM + SEA Approach

Simple, seasonally focused menus with ingredients sourced as close to our farm as possible.

Whether you choose a coursed plated dinner for an intimate group, a simple picnic for all your pals, s’mores for ‘round the fire or a brunch before you say farewell, we put great care into each and every bite. Surrounded by the stars and your family and friends, we are quite certain these are the best ingredients in life.

 
 

About the menus

We have taken great care to keep things simple & utterly delicious. We pride ourselves in offering a menu of food that will surprise & delight your guests while keeping things humble and with a clear taste of our place here in the mid coast. We support our community of growers and makers by choosing menu items that rely on these flavors and ingredients found right in our backyard. We are pretty sure you will love every bite.

 
  • We do our very best to accommodate the unique dietary needs of your group. We are able to easilly accommodate Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Vegan & Vegetarian requests. Anything beyond this will require a discussion during the planning process.

    If there are significant allergies in the group, please let us know immediately so we can prepare a safe plan. There are cases with severe allergies that we can not accommodate.

    We require all final allergen & dietary preferences 30 days before your event with a detailed seating chart noting where each individual is sitting for service.

  • We absolutely love offering simple & beautiful events at our off-the-grid Riverside Yurt. Please know that in addition to very simple menu offerings and the additional yurt location fee of $1500 there will be significantly more staff requirements for setup & execution as well as cleanup for the restaurant-like experience in the middle of the woods than would be required at our barn location. 

  • Prices do include our house dinner rentals – wooden plates, silverware, serving platters & utensils. If your event is over 130, you will need to bring in all of your dinner rentals from an outside rental company.

    We also offer an upgraded dinnerware - a classic white plate with black trim detail. This package which includes a salad plate, dinner plate & bowl (if needed) is $8 per person - all cleaning & handling included.

    If you wish to bring in your own rentals, our feelings won’t be hurt!

  • Food prices below INCLUDE basic dinner rentals but do not include service, gratuity, or tax. A customized plan with pricing will be delivered during the draft process of your catering menu.

    As we mentioned in the sales process, we do require you plan at least two events during your property takeover - this is typically a welcome event & the reception celebration.

    It should be noted that we are not immune to the increased pricing in the world. We are also committed to operating a hospitality business that supports our local economy & a living wage for all of our employees.

  • We offer vendor meals for $45 per person.

    We offer meals for children (ages 3-12) a pasta with vegetarian red sauce/cheese option for $25.

  • We will work with you and your specific event logistics (guest count, layout etc) to determine the best service style for your event unless noted here in our menu.

    For events under 80, plated salads or entrees are a possibility.

    For events over 80, we offer Family Style or our Farmhouse Spread (a.k.a a gorgeously styled buffet) only. No exceptions.

Traditional Dinner

Let’s celebrate! We love to kick the dinner off with a family style salad to help everyone settle into the meal.

After that, choose two protein options + a vegetarian option for your main event. If family style is chosen, it will be an additional $5/person as the portions need to be bigger as to not run out.

As a reminder, our menu prices include all rentals (plus handling fees) needed for the meal.
